A six-week session will be provided during the school year 

• There will be two in-class sessions in the Janesville Schools Library on June 5th (7:00 - 8:00 AM) and the second in-person class being June 11th from 8:00-9:30.

• The remainder of the classroom instruction will be completed online. Registration for the online course will be given during the first in-person meeting on June 8th.  Students will be able to log-in and out anytime and will be allowed to complete 3 hours per day on the course.

• Students must successfully complete online coursework (30 hours) and driving (6 hours) sections of driver education concurrently.  Students will be given 45 days to complete the online course and the online course work must be completed by July 23rd.  If a student does not complete the course by the deadline, a $50 fee will be charged for a 30 day extension.

• Driving will be arranged with the driving instructors during the first class.

Driving will be arranged throughout the day and weekends.

The cost of the course is $400.00. A 4% processing fee will be charged for any credit card payments.  ​

All refunds are subject to a $50 administrative fee.  A full refund minus the $50 administrative fee is available up to 10 days prior to a course beginning. A 50% refund is available within 10 days up until the first day of a course.  No refunds will be given after the first day of class.  Please make checks payable to HOMESAFE Driving School L.L.C. Payment can be made during the first class or sent to Homesafe Driving School, 1315 Meadow View Lane, Waverly, IA 50677.

Certificates of completion will not be issued until all financial obligations have been fulfilled.  Students on free and reduced lunch programs are eligible for tuition reimbursement. If your child qualifies for free and reduced lunches, chose the "registration for cash or check option."  On the first page of the registration indicate this in the box titled "is there anything else we should be aware of." Students failing to show up for scheduled behind-the-wheel instruction, without prior notification, will be subject to a $50.00 non-refundable fee.
